Healthy, bite-sized churros made in the air fryer with no deep frying! Lightly sweet, crisp, and coated in cinnamon sugar for a guilt-free treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose or whole wheat flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (or 1/3 cup milk + 1 tbsp coconut oil)

  • 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil or butter (plus more for brushing)

  • 2 tablespoons coconut sugar

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Add Greek yogurt and mix to form dough.

  • Roll into small balls or bites. Chill for 10 minutes (optional).

  • Preheat air fryer to 350°F. Lightly brush bites with oil.

  • Air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway, until golden.

  • While warm, brush with oil and toss in cinnamon sugar. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use dairy-free yogurt or milk for a vegan version

  • Add protein powder for a fitness-friendly snack

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days
