Healthy, bite-sized churros made in the air fryer with no deep frying! Lightly sweet, crisp, and coated in cinnamon sugar for a guilt-free treat.
1 cup all-purpose or whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (or 1/3 cup milk + 1 tbsp coconut oil)
1 tablespoon melted coconut oil or butter (plus more for brushing)
2 tablespoons coconut sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Add Greek yogurt and mix to form dough.
Roll into small balls or bites. Chill for 10 minutes (optional).
Preheat air fryer to 350°F. Lightly brush bites with oil.
Air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway, until golden.
While warm, brush with oil and toss in cinnamon sugar. Serve warm.
